The well known procedure of evacuating model stone or investment, to eliminate bubbles and increasing the hardness, is applied here to take the air out from in between the ceramic particles. The results: Denser, bubble free material, faster build-up, less shrinkage during firing and harder, porcelain that is more translucent. The system includes: 1 Vacuum Platform, 1 Vacuum Chamber 3” x 4” X ¾”, a 3-cavity glazed mixing tray and a 5’ reinforced vacuum hose with fitting.
